Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

'All children and young people are entitled to an education that is appropriate to their needs, promotes high standards and the fulfilment of potential' (SEND Code of Practice 2014).

At Fleetville Infant and Nursery School we are committed to promoting the inclusion of all children whatever their age, ability, gender, race or background and aim to meet the learning and pastoral needs of every child.  Educational experiences are provided which develop pupils’ achievements and recognise their individuality.  We value the importance of working in partnership with parents and draw upon the advice of external agencies to provide the best support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Our SEND Co-ordinator (SENCo) is Miss Allie Barnes. We also have a Trust SENCo, Elaine Bridle, who supports all the school SENCos.
The school SENCo can be contacted via the school office to discuss any individual needs or concerns.
